Release notes
-------------

This is AriesVerb 0.7.5, the first time AriesVerb is released on the
Mac OS X platform! So many people have emailed asking for a Mac port,
so here it is.

(Well, it's only in VST for the moment, but there are VST to AU adapters
available; and at least one of them is free. Running AriesVerb through
an adapter was of course tested to make sure it works.)

A small code optimization in the algorithm makes it run even faster on
Intel processors. The default preset Temple of the Ancestors now uses
less than 1% of a single core on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with
2.2 GHz, while the sound is identically the same!

The handling of the preset browser was simplified. The 'save', 'load',
and 'revert' buttons are gone, mostly because their function was highly
confusing to most people. They were also highly redundant.
To load a preset in the new browser, simply click on it.
To revert, press UNDO (all load operations are undoable).
To save, use the host's save as fxp feature.

So you have saved an fxp an would like it to appear in the program
library. This is easy: you can simply move the fxp file into the presets
folder. Under Windows, this folder is always in the same location where
the dll file lives.
But where is the presets folder on the Mac platform? The answer is, it's
inside the bundle! Right click on the Ariesverb.vst bundle and select
"Show package contents". Then navigate to Contents/Resources/Presets/.
Voila!
